Your existing file access stays the same. Connect to the company network or VPN before opening shared files.
Install the app
Open the downloaded DMG. Drag Carv Link to Applications, then open it once.
Enable the Finder extension
In System Settings, open Login Items & Extensions. Enable Carv Link under File Providers or Finder extensions.
Copy your first link
In Finder, right-click a shared file. Choose Carv Link, then Copy Carv Link. Paste it into your message.
For your team’s files.
Everyone who opens a Carv Link needs the app and permission to access the shared file. Links do not grant file access.
Use iconik too.
Sign in with your own iconik account to open indexed assets or create a share link. Setup instructions are included with the app.
Updating an older copy?
Turn off Open at login, disable the Finder extension, and quit Carv Link before replacing it. Open the new copy and enable the extension again.
